I'm Rachel. I'm an observer, story-teller, and avid fan of starting out the day with freshly brewed coffee.

I picked up a camera for the first time as a young teen and ever since I've been chasing the dream of transforming my passion into a career. After a year of dipping my toes in the world of photography at an internship in Nashville I came home to New Jersey and at 18 years old I decided to start this company. Now that I have a family of my own I have an even deeper appreciation of images that freeze a moment in time.

My photography style is derived from my admiration for documentary photographers like Dorothea Lange and Vivian Maier. With every photo session I strive to create a natural and comfortable environment for my clients.  My goal is to take "staged" portraits and breathe life into them. I want my clients to remember things like the sound of their child's laughter as they tickle their sides or the feeling a bride has as her mother buttons up her dress. Each photo is meant to take you back to that moment and give you the gift of remembering it over and over again.

I believe every moment in life has it's own simple, natural, beauty that I truly love being able to witness. All of my clients continue to remind me of that.
